CONNECT- participatory mapping of land use and ecosystem services prioritisations in the Arctic
Project description
| In the CONNECT project we aimed to understand how increased accessibility, resource extraction, tourism are changing socio-ecological systems in the Arctic. In WP2, participatory mapping in Arctic Canada, Alaska, Norway and Russia followed the same protocol to enable cross-cultural comparison of land use and ecosystem services prioritisations. Partners in this project were Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, Utah State University, University of Saskatchewan, and Saint Petersburg State University.
